Zoom Communications has named Carlos Quaderi as its new head of Asia Pacific (APAC), starting 1 August 2026. In this role, he will lead Zoom’s business across Australia, New Zealand, Asia, India and Korea, except Japan. He will report to Graeme Geddes, Zoom’s Chief Sales and Growth Officer.Â
Quaderi had been the head of Asia for Zoom, wherein he managed the sales and strategy for the firm in Southeast Asia, Hong Kong SAR, and Taiwan. As part of his new appointment, he will work towards scaling up the CX business of Zoom, increasing its SMB customer base, and building partner networks in the region.
He brings more than 30 years of technology industry experience to his new role. Before joining Zoom, Quadri was Group Vice President for Asia Pacific and Japan at Workday, where he helped double the region’s revenue, improved profitability, and achieved 25% year-on-year growth. Earlier, he held senior leadership roles at Amazon Web Services (AWS), leading the company’s enterprise business across Asia Pacific and Japan, and at Microsoft, where he managed regional go-to-market teams and helped grow annual revenue. He also spent over 10 years at Hewlett Packard Enterprise and eight years at Sun Microsystems in sales and leadership roles.

Quaderi is also a Board Governor at the American Chamber of Commerce in Singapore (AmCham Singapore). Zoom said APAC is an important growth market for the company. It is continuing to invest in the region by expanding its partner network. Opening a new Singapore office and helping businesses use its AI-powered platform to improve teamwork, customer service, and productivity. Quaderi will continue to be based in Singapore.
