Tesla, a leading manufacturer of electric cars, is all set to launch 6-seat variants of its model Y with scaling production by 2025 in China. As the US automakers strive to increase their appeal for the best-selling electric vehicles, Tesla plans to direct suppliers to enhance production for the Shanghai factory. The giant automaker launched its Model Y in 2020 to revamp its production 2020 under the project “Juniper”. The company is actively focusing on developing self-driving technology and robotaxi development.

Tesla plans to increase its overall sales and production estimation in China, promoting more growth and expansion for smaller cities and improving overall productivity. With the scale of mass production, more sales and revenue are expected by year-end after the featured plan for China.

With no new models, adding small improvements to the hot-selling model strategy expands the supply chain and mass production with less capital expenditure. However, Tesla has not immediately responded to quote a comment; it is not yet clear how Tesla would raise plant production, as they are awaiting approval for expanding 70 hectares or 172 acres of farmland. Based on the initial planning, the closest launch date is expected to be early 2025.
