Meta Platforms has launched a new monthly subscription called “Meta One”, which brings advanced AI capabilities and over 50 new features to Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp. So far, the service has 15 million subscriptions and trials. It is designed to help people create, distribute, and manage content.

The feature has three pricing categories. Single-app packages, such as WhatsApp Plus and Instagram Plus, start at $2.99 monthly and focus on app-specific updates. Individual packages cost $7.99 monthly and include both application features and AI-based software. Creator/business packages cost $14.99 monthly and give users professional tools, such as account verification, analytics, and customer support on Meta applications. Meta plans to introduce this service to its Edits app and AI glasses soon.

This new subscription model helps Meta diversify its income and reduce its heavy reliance on digital advertising. By offering paid upgrades, the tech giant can make money directly from its massive user base, which recently averaged 3.60 billion daily active users across its apps. However, Meta assured users that basic functions and regular Meta AI tools will remain free. According to the company’s recent blog post, it will keep improving its capabilities and features to help small companies and content creators sell their products and improve their content.
