Sourav Das has been appointed as Head – Business Finance at Meesho. He will be based in Bangalore. Sourav joins Meesho from Amazon, where he most recently served as Head of Finance for Beauty, Fashion and Personal Care Appliances (PCA) and Cost to Serve Lead for Amazon India since September 2023. In the role, he had end-to-end profit and loss (P&L) responsibility for the company’s softlines categories, including fashion, beauty and personal care appliances.
Before Amazon, Sourav spent nearly 2 years at LEAD School, joining as Vice President – Business Finance in October 2021 and becoming Head of Finance in April 2023. He was also part of Amazon Prime Video’s India Originals business finance team from October 2020 to September 2021.
Earlier, he spent more than 11 years at Unilever across finance roles, including Finance Head for Modern Trade, E-Commerce and Institutional Business and Senior Finance Manager for Mergers & Acquisitions.
Sourav pursued his MBA degree in Finance & Strategy from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore.
