A meeting to resolve the trade war between the US and China is scheduled for Monday in London. Last Thursday, Trump and Xi Jinping had a good phone conversation over trade tensions and disputes over crucial minerals. Both countries have agreed to restart the trade in rare earth materials.
Last month, the world’s two biggest economies temporarily agreed to lower import taxes on goods traded between them. Still, after some time, both countries accused each other of violating the deal, which gave both sides a 90-day deadline to reach a trade deal.

In recent years, US officials have analysed China as a top diplomatic rival and the only country in the world that strongly challenges the United States economically and militarily. Therefore, this meeting will lead to positive relations between the US and China, boosting the economy.
