Mumbai-based healthcare startup Butterfly Learnings has raised Rs 65 crore in a new pre-series B funding round led by Inflexor Ventures. Existing investors Enzia Ventures, Insitor Impact Asia Fund and IIMA Ventures also took part in the round. The company will use the money to expand its centres and services across India. It also plans to improve its AI and autism screening tool available in more hospitals and paediatric clinics, and train more therapists.
Butterfly Learnings was started in 2021 by Sonam Kothari and Abhishek Sen. The company offers services like therapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy and inclusive education. They also said that it now has more than 75 centres. The company also says it has a network of over 400 therapists and specialists.
Sonam Kothari said Butterfly Learnings was started because families often have to manage diagnosis, therapy and school support separately. The company aims to bring these services together in one place using technology, data and standard treatment methods to provide better care for children.
Butterfly Learnings is also expanding its Get SET Early technology, an eye-tracking tool designed to help identify early signs of autism in children aged 12 to 48 months. The company says the tool has received regulatory approval. This is Butterfly Learning’s second major funding round. In 2024, it raised Rs 32 crore in a Series A round.
The startup’s revenue increased strongly in FY25. It reported revenue of Rs 15.5 crore, compared with Rs 6.3 crore a year earlier. However, its net loss also stood at Rs 13.3 crore during the same year.
